The 2 areas labeled “Natural ponds” are large areas (~1 mile walk around) with water, trees, marsh/wetlands, which support a variety of birds.

Since the vegetation is allowed to grow “naturally” the views from the path are limited to specific openings around the perimeter. Eagle Lakes is on the Florida Bird Trail and over the years.
